Built for comfortable stays: a fully equipped kitchen (Nespresso-compatible coffee machine, dishwasher, conventional oven and microwave), a TV with Amazon Fire, wifi and a dedicated work corner.
Merville-Franceville-Plage beach is a one-minute walk away, with direct access by the lifeguard station. The town centre, its shops and bakery are a 5-minute walk along the seafront.

The beach
A one-minute walk from home, Merville-Franceville-Plage beach stretches for several kilometres of fine sand, backed by dunes with views across the whole Calvados coast. The tidal range here is spectacular — up to 6 metres between high and low tide — uncovering a huge stretch of sand and mudflats with every ebb tide, a perfect playground for shellfish gathering: cockles, clams and other shellfish are easy to find, as long as you keep an eye on when the tide turns.
Known for its wind conditions, the beach also draws watersports enthusiasts: kitesurfing — one of the most popular spots on the Côte Fleurie —, kayaking, catamaran sailing, and a sailing school where you can learn or improve your skills. Between sessions, take a walk along the seafront promenade all the way to the Orne estuary.
